Completion Date: Spring 2012
Work on the Joliet to Nelson Double Track Project began in October 2010. This project consists of adding a second track along the EJ&E mainline between North Rowell Avenue in Joliet and Nelson Road in New Lenox.
Much of the work on this project is complete. Minor close-out work will continue into the spring of 2012.
